Roxanne & Shadow Z.

Please open your home and heart to Roxanne and Shadow! These loving pups are in need of a temporary home while their owner is deployed with the US Navy from Jan. 9, 2023 until Aug. 15  ,2024.  They are in the Imperial Beach, CA area and can travel any distance for the right home!

If you’re a fan of kisses, then Roxanne is your girl!  She absolutely adores people and loves to show it with face kisses! Her fun-loving personality will shine through from the moment you meet her! She enjoys a good conversation and will let out a “awooooo” to say hello to people and animals alike. Roxanne enjoys watching the neighborhood when relaxed but when she’s ready to play, no plastic bottle or cardboard box is safe! Roxanne gets a thrill out of chasing squirrels and other animals so please keep a close eye on her

Shadow is a calm, gentle soul who lives to protect her people. This timid pup enjoys spending the day quietly lounging with her sister, Roxanne, and her human companions. Her owner says that when she is excited, she lets out a “woooo!” sound, much like her sister. Shadow gets a kick out of wrestling other pups and may even try to lay on them!

The owner would love a family who is active and will be home often to look after both dogs. They will be kind to Roxanne and be mindful of Shadow’s shyness. Roxanne and Shadow are comfortable living in an apartment and enjoy short or long walks. Both pups understand sit and lay down and are working on stay!
