Breed/Type: Pitbull

Location: Fernley, NV

Needs foster care by: November 30, 2023
Needs foster care until: October 1, 2025

Rico & Argos are ready to share some brotherly love! Their owner will be deploying continuously with the US Marines overseas from November 30, 2023 until October 1, 2025. They live in Fernley, NV and the owner is willing to transport just about anywhere for the perfect home!Rico  & Argos are two brothers like no other! Rico’s energy will keep your spirits lifted while Argos will match your mellow when it’s time to chill out.

Rico, always the protector, will ensure the safety of his home with daily perimeter checks. This energetic pup loves to play with his rope toys and has a hefty appetite and prefers to keep his food to himself. Rico is a bit talkative sometimes and loves to gossip with the dogs next door but he’s been working on listening more.

Argos is the token cuddle bug of the two and would love for nothing more than to curl up with you on the couch. But when he’s excited, he’ll catch a case of the zoomies and wiggle his butt! He prefers tough chew toys and the occasional stuffed animal to play with.

The ideal foster home would be willing to keep them together and have no children or other pets in the home. The owner would prefer someone who is experienced with large dogs who might be willing to work on their reactive nature to doorbells and other dogs. Rico & Argos are used to living in a home with a fenced yard and enjoy taking walks! A firm grip is needed as Rico loves to pull on the leash and may jump to greet people. While Arogs is a bit more social with other dogs, Rico prefers just the company of his brother.
