Persephone

Who wants to be the lucky one to take care of this sweetheart until her owner returns from training with the Army? Persephone is a super sweet, loving, playful social 3-year-old pit that loves everyone. A family member is currently caring for Persephone but cannot continue due to a living situation.  Persephone is located in Witchita, KS, and the family can transport within an 8-hour radius.

Persephone never grew up and still has that wonderful puppy personality and just wants to be friends with everyone. She just want to be loved and give love. Persephone is good with people, children, dogs, and indoor cats.  Persephone is house, crate, and leash trained but is fearful of her crate and needs treats or food to encourage her to go into her crate. Once in her crate she is fine, but may whines a little. Persephone is leash trained but is very eager to meet new people and friends while on walks,  and if given the opportunity, she may try and chase geese.  Persephone also enjoys swimming and if off leash, she has good recall when called.

Persephone really just loves everyone and wants to be by your side. She enjoys climbing up on the sofa next to you but is clumsy and may fall backward off the sofa. Persephone enjoys looking out the window, playing, and cuddling, she also enjoys chewing on nyla bones or real bones from the butcher shop.

Persephone is just a sweet loving pup that needs a place to crash until her owner returns.
