Meet Midas – The Snuggly Goldendoodle with a Heart of Gold ✨

Location: Sherman Oaks, CA
Needs a foster: ASAP – 8/1/25 while owner recovers
Transport available up to 40 miles from Sherman Oaks

Midas is a 4-year-old, 60 lb Goldendoodle with a sweet spirit and a love for people—especially kids! He’s looking for a kind and attentive foster while his military owner recovers from a medical incident. Midas has been raised in a loving family home and thrives in a structured environment with plenty of affection and a bit of room to run.

Why You’ll Love Midas

Midas is a medium-energy pup who enjoys long walks, exploring outside, and then snuggling up beside you for downtime. He currently lives with three kids (ages 7, 11, and 12), and adores their company. He’s affectionate, playful, and happiest when he’s close to his people.

While he’s still learning the ropes of proper doggy manners, Midas is leash-trained, house-trained, and calm in the car. He does best with supervision, as he has a silly (but serious!) habit of chewing non-food items like socks or paper. He’s also never been crated but is fine being gated in one room when left alone.

A Few Notes About Midas

Midas is nervous around new dogs, especially if they bark—but give him a little time, and he can warm up for friendly play. He hasn’t been around cats, so we recommend a feline-free home. When meeting new people, he may bark at first, but quickly turns into a cuddle bug eager for attention.

He’s especially fond of pumpkin purée and food mixed with chicken or beef stock (yum!). He may bark at door knocks and outside noises but quiets with reassurance.

Ideal Foster Home

✅ Has no cats
✅ Comfortable supervising indoors (to prevent sock-snacking!)
✅ Great with children and families
✅ Can give daily walks and attention
✅ Will love a dog who loves being loved

Midas is a charming, fluffy companion ready for a soft place to land while his person heals. Could you be the one to give him a temporary home full of care and cuddles?
