Lexi is a sweet girl looking for a new friend to cuddle with while her owner works through military housing issues from April 2023 until April 2024, with the potential of an early return. Her owner is stationed with the Army in the Los Angeles, CA area. This beautiful pup loves to spend time with two-legged and four-legged friends alike. She’ll be your extra shadow around the house when you need some company and loves to play with her toys or play catch for hours on end. She’s curious about the world around her and about meeting new friends and is used to living in a home with a fenced yard but is very adaptive and resilient.

Lexi is crate and house-trained but can occasionally pull on the leash during walks if she’s curious about something. She gets along well with adults and children but is occasionally submissive, and fearful and barks more at larger dogs and men. She can be overly playful with smaller dogs but not aggressive. She has spent ample time in her home with other dogs but is untested with cats. She has allergies to weather changes, wet grass, and certain foods (chicken and salmon). Her owner will continue her monthly orders and shipments of her special food from the local organic store and is willing to transport Lexi up to 2 hours to find a good home.
