🐶 Meet Kai

Kai is a loving, low-to-medium energy pup with a soft heart and a playful streak. This sweet boy is located in Tucson, AZ and can travel within 4 hrs.

He is looking for a temporary foster home while his owner is away from July 1, 2025 – January 15, 2026, and he comes with all the charm: house-trained, great with kids, and an expert snuggler with just the right amount of goofy energy.

Kai has been lovingly raised around children and is gentle, affectionate, and curious. He thrives in a home with structure and calm energy but is equally excited for playtime, a trip to the dog park, or relaxing by your side.

🐾 Personality Snapshot:

• A mix of snuggly and independent — he’ll come in for pets, then stretch out for his own space

• Crate-trained and comfortable being left alone (though he may whine if he needs to go out)

• Adjusts well, though he may experience mild separation anxiety early in a new environment

• Best crated when unattended — like most curious pups, Kai may chew if bored

• Sensitive to fireworks, thunder, and vacuums — he’ll find a safe spot to hide when things get noisy

🚫 A Few Notes:

• Kai hasn’t had much exposure to cats, so a cat-free foster home is preferred

• He’s still working on calm leash manners when encountering other dogs — he barks out of excitement but just wants to say hello!
