🐾 Meet Bear – A Big, Lovable Couch Companion in Need of a Foster 🐾
📍 Location: Columbus, GA | 🗓️ Foster Needed: August 29, 2025 – July 30, 2026
🚗 Willing to travel within 4 hours of Columbus, GA

Bear is a 6-year-old, 90 lb Pit Bull mix who brings big love and even bigger cuddles. With his silly zoomies, soft eyes, and total devotion to his people, Bear is searching for a calm, adult-only foster home while his guardian serves on military deployment. He’s happiest with consistency, structure, and lots of cozy nap spots.

🐶 Why You’ll Love Bear
Bear is house-trained, affectionate, and always ready for a long walk (before claiming your entire couch). While he has a history of anxious chewing, he’s mellowed out with a good routine and loves relaxing with his favorite chew toy. He prefers people to pets—he’s not a fan of other animals and would do best as the only pet in the home.

He’s great with older children but may be a little too exuberant around little ones. Bear thrives when he feels safe and supported—especially during storms, which can make him clingy and anxious. A thunder shirt and calming treats (provided) help ease his fears.

🏡 Ideal Foster Home
✅ Adult-only or child-savvy home
✅ No other pets (cats or dogs)
✅ Calm, consistent environment
✅ Willing to manage high prey drive and reactivity
✅ Experience with large breeds a plus

Help give Bear the safe landing he needs while his person serves our country. If you have the heart and the space, Bear will fill your life with loyalty, snuggles, and a little slobber.
