(Foster Found) Astrid & Beamer H.

Meet Astrid & Beamer two well-behaved pups that need a foster while their owner is deployed from Sept. 18, 2024, to Oct. 10, 2025.   Dogs can be separated to secure a safe and loving foster.  The owner can transport within a 5-hour radius of Augusta, GA or anywhere between Augusta, GA, and San Diego, CA.

Astrid is a friendly social 3 year old Stafford Terrier, that loves people, children, dogs and cats. Astrid is used to the apartment life but enjoys running around in a yard. Astrid has lived with cats.  Astrid is house,leash and crate trained. On lead Astrid is always happy to meet new people and pets along the way, and may pull a little at first when she is excited to go. While crate trained she doesn’t need to be and has no destructive tendencies.

Astrid is a silly goofy girl that loves to play and have fun. She will get spurts of playfulness and gets the zoomies. Astrid enjoys going for long walks, playing tug-of war, loves water, and enjoys swimming in the lake or running through a sprinkler. Astrid is well-behaved but can be a bit stubborn at times, but will do anything for a treat.  Astrid is protective of her food bowl around other dogs and should be fed separately, and her bowl put up when not in use.

Beamer is a friendly social 3-year-old Stafford Terrier, that loves people, children, and  cats. Beamer was attacked recently and is fear aggressive/cautious towards unknown dogs Beamer is used to the apartment life but enjoys running around in a yard. Beamer has lived with cats.  Beamer is house, leash and crate trained. On lead, Beamer  is always happy to meet new people. Beamer is very well-behaved on leash, however, when other dogs are in view he gets very cautious and on high alert.  With command, Beamer will sit but stay on high alert until the other dog is out of view.   Other dogs should be avoided. 

At home, Beamer is a super sweetheart and an attention hound. Beamer loves to cuddle and play. Beamer loves people, but may jump to say hello.  Beamer is very well behaved and you only have to give him the command once and he will listen.  Beamer enjoys playing and going for long walks.
