Andrea is a member of the US Air Force who will be attending training from ASAP – 6/18/2021.  She is looking for a great foster to care for her sweet dog, Obasi, near their home in Bonaire, GA.  Andrea will be driving to TX for training, and can also consider any foster home along the route!

Obasi is a 4 year old, 25 lbs, neutered male Carlin Pinscher.  He is microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention.  Obasi is crate trained and is working on his leash manners, and knows commands for sit, down, and off.  Obasi may try to show dominance to larger dogs at first contact, but is well mannered and friendly after a proper introduction and settling in period.  He loves to chew on his toys and will steal and chew up plastic water bottles if you forget to recycle!  Obasi does jump up when meeting new people (something that Andrea has been working on with him,) so PACT would recommend households with children older than the “toddler” stage are best suited to Obasi.  He has not had experience with cats.  Obasi sleeps in his crate at night, and is a sweet, charismatic boy who loves attention from his human family and will happily play with doggy companions as well.  Andrea says, “Basi tries really hard to understand EVERY word you say to him, so if you are an “out-loud” thinker, please be careful when Basi is around because he will break his neck trying to understand you lol!  His perfect foster family would be a family who is very attentive (he does like attention) but doesn’t let him rule the house. He loves walks.”
