Mickey and Minnie Mouse didn’t live in Disneyland– they lived in an abusive home! When their momma finally managed to escape, she needed a safe home for her two fur-babies to stay as well, and the shelter she was staying at had a strict no-pets policy. PACT was able to place Mickey and Minnie Mouse in a wonderful foster home with the Strickler family, who has fostered for us several times before, and the two Shih-Tzu’s loved it! Just one month later, their momma was able to return for them and take them to their new, safe home. Thank you to the Strickler family for offering a helping hand to a woman in crisis!
“PACT Volunteers and staff including Director Buzzy went above and beyond to make sure me + my animals were all fine. I can’t thank PACT enough for all there hard work + care of my animals. I can’t thank the foster families enough for all there hard work. Thank you Buzzy + PACT.” – Kimberly, Owner, 8/15/14

“The placement went very smoothly and the dogs were a pleasure. PACT is sensitive to my needs and limitations. When a previous appointment did not appear to be a good fit with my own dog, there was no hesitation about dropping it- which left me free to host Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse who were wonderful.” – Mary, Foster, 8/15/14
