Veronica is a member of the US Army just starting her career. She will be going to basic training from 11/16/2020 – 7/9/2021. Veronica has been unable to find a foster for her darling dog, Mia, near their home in Buffalo, NY.
Mia is a 1 year old, 40 lbs, spayed female Pointer mix. She is up to date on her vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention, and she’s microchipped. Mia even has her own pet health insurance plan. She is crate trained and knows commands for sit, but will need a handler who can help her improve her leash manners. Mia loves other dogs and does well with older kids, but hasn’t had experience with kitties. She plays well with others, but can be possessive of her bones or favorite toys with other dogs. Veronica says, “Mia is super loving and cuddly, she loves to give kisses. She is very energetic but in a playful way. The perfect foster for Mia would allow her on the couches for cuddles, and on their beds. Somewhere that has a fenced in yard, and maybe another animal for her to play with.”
