What a joyful reunion it was when Luna Stars, a playful Yorkshire Terrier, was finally reunited with her best friend Saramarie. Saramarie had life-threatening leukemia and complications. Luna Stars was the puppy she had always dreamed of. When Saramarie’s family moved to the Ronald McDonald house to be closer to CHOP for Saramarie’s treatment, Luna Stars found a wonderful PACT foster home with Elizabeth at her retirement community. Within Elizabeth’s retirement community the little dog quickly became everyone’s favorite. Elizabeth and her friends even sent Saramarie birthday cards and gifts. Saramarie is now getting better! And for the first time in months, she can hug her best friend Luna Stars. Saramarie and her family have been through so much, and it was truly special for Elizabeth and PACT to be able to give them peace of mind during their trying times and be able to return Luna Stars to her grateful, loving, healthy family.
