UPDATE: Loki has reunited with his family!  Thanks to PACT foster Amy for keeping him safe and out of the animal shelter!

Loki has been in a few PACT foster homes, and his last one was pretty much the perfect fit. But because of his size, Loki really requires a fenced in yard, so a foster will not have to worry about walking this big boy on leash. He needs a new foster home urgently!

Loki is a 4 year old Great Dane is who is extremely smart and a big cuddly goof ball. He loves his blanket, belly rubs, and cheese. His owners Petty Officer Jose and his family have been deployed to Turkey. They do not have any friends or family on the East Coast that can take Loki for the next 7 months until they return.

Loki is a really special, intelligent and sensitive dog that requires an equally special home. A foster with dog experience is preferred. He can live with other dogs that are medium to large in size, but not any under 25 lbs. But please no smaller dogs or cats because Loki may mistake for one of his stuffed toys! Also, because of his size and sometimes being fearful in new situations, he should not go to a home with children.

Loki has been away from his family for over a year, and PACT has made a promise to them that they will be reunited once they return. Please help us keep this promise by fostering this sweet dog.

Foster Amy and her Greyhounds quickly and warmly accepted Loki into their home and family, and we cannot thank her enough for helping out in this urgent situation!
