Samantha is a member of the US Army and is preparing for further training which will take her away from her Evans Mill, NY, home from 2/17/2020 – 6/5/2020.  Samantha is hoping to find a great foster for her baby, Lady, near her eventual posting in Missouri.

Lady is a 3 year old spayed female Bluetick/Walker hound mix.  She’s about 55lbs, up to date on her vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention.  Lady is crate trained, leash trained, and knows commands for sit, wait, woof (speak), lay down, roll over, bang (play dead), high five, shake, spin, and come.  Lady is good with other dogs and children, but doesn’t have much experience with cats.  Lady can sometimes be defensive of her food bowl, and so should be fed separately from other dogs and children.  Samantha says, “She has the kindest heart. She loves people so much. She is constantly cuddling me and looking for attention. She loves children and plays very well with kids. My best friend has a 3 year old and he has been her best buddy for a year now.”
