Terrance and Alaysia are members of the US Army, both preparing for separate assignments set to take place from 11/10/2020 – 8/15/2021. The couple is seeking a large dog-loving foster family to care for their big baby, Kumasi, near their home in Fort Stewart, GA.

Kumasi is a 1 year old, 85lbs, neutered male Mastiff mix.  Kumasi is microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention.  Kumasi is your quintessential gentle giant – his dad calls him his big teddy bear.  Kumasi plays well with other dogs and young kids, and used to go to doggy daycare four or five times a week.  He doesn’t make much noise in the house, but may start to cry if it’s “potty time.”  He is working on his leash manners, is crate trained, and knows how to sit on command.  He is still young, and dad Terrance says that Kumasi is still weak for shoes and socks – so fosters, please be aware of any stray laundry and put away shoes when not in use.  And just like a teddy bear, Kumasi loves to cuddle.  If you’re looking for an 85lbs lap dog, look no further.  Kumasi is your guy.
