Ji is a member of the US Air Force and is preparing for an overseas assignment from 6/18/2021 – 12/12/2021.  Ji has been unable to find any family or friends in the area for care for his dog, Kody, near their home in Chantilly, VA.
Kody is a 7 year old, 70lbs, neutered male Labrador Retriever mix.  Kody is up to date on his vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention, and he’s been microchipped.  Kody also has his own pet health insurance which his foster will be able to utilize for any wellness check ups or sick visits needed at the vet.  Kody walks nicely on leash and knows commands for sit, stay, lay down, and spin.  Kody’s left back leg is a little sensitive following an injury, and would do best in a calm home without too many stairs to climb.  He does well with other dogs and cats outside of the home, but has never had to share his space with other pets.  Ji thinks Kody would be fine with another gentle dog companion.  Ji says, “Kody is the sweetest good boy, he is special because he just is!”
