Jackson is an incredibly affectionate Dane whose owner, First Lieutenant William, was deployed to Afghanistan. William had spent the last year raising and training Jackson to be a wonderful family dog and desperately did not want to lose him, but had no one else that could help him keep Jackson out of a shelter! Jackson found a wonderful PACT Foster Home with the Murdock family, whose mom does agility training with her own two big dogs. For 10 months, Jackson lived a pampered dogs life with his two new doggy friends, and William was given the peace of mind he needed to serve his country well. This weekend, Jackson was reunited with his loving dad and jumped all over him with joy! The Murdocks were sad to see Jackson leave — they even made him a delightful doggy cake for him to take home — but were so pleased to see the heartwarming reunion of Will and Jackson that they are eager to foster again ASAP. Thank you to the Murdocks for being such a wonderful PACT Foster Family, and thank you to William for your service to our country!
