Stephen is a member of the US Army and is preparing for an overseas assignment from 5/20/2021 – 12/10/2021.  Stephen has no options for care for his dog, Rooster and is hoping that there is a great PACT foster family near his home in Elgin, OK, who can offer him a place to stay for the rest of the year.

Rooster is a 1 year old, 45 lbs, neutered male Australian Shepherd/Heeler mix.  Rooster is also up to date on his vaccinations and all of his preventatives.  Rooster is crate and leash trained and knows commands and hand signals for sit, lay, and stay.  Stephen says, “He is very affectionate, and loves riding in my truck. He is my best friend other than my wife. He listens intently and is easy to train.”
