Katherine is a member of the US Army, currently away at training until 2/11/2021,  Katherine had left her beautiful shepherd, Gatling, with a trusted friend, but unfortunately the dog already in that home is not very accepting of Gatling.  Katherine and PACT are trying to work as quickly as possible to find another foster placement for Gatling, starting ASAP in the San Antonio, TX, area.

Gatling is a 3 year old, 110lbs, spayed female German Shepherd dog.  Gatling is crate and leash trained, and knows commands for sit and shake.  She is up to date on her vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention.  Gatling is great with other dogs and would do fine in a household with one or two other pups, but fosters should note that she should be fed in her crate/separately from other pets.  Gatling exhibits some separation anxiety, and would do best with a foster who is working from home during the next few months.  She will typically howl for a few minutes after her person leaves the house, then subside and is quiet until they return.  Katherine and her friend say Gatling is the sweetest thing, she loves her people and loves to cuddle.
