Emily is a member of the US Navy and will be going on assignment from 3/5/2021 – 1/3/2022.   Emily has no support system near her current home in Honolulu, HI, to care for her sweet pup for the next 10 months.  Can you help this soldier see her dog again?

Freyja is a 1 year old, 50 lbs, spayed female German Short Hair Pointer mix.  She is up to date on her vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention, and she has been microchipped.  Freyja is crate and leash trained and knows commands for sit, down, paw, stay, and place.  She is good with other dogs, but Emily worries that she’s too energetic for cat companions, and may excitedly knock over toddlers or young kids.  Emily says, “She’s super smart, silly, and a love bug. I have had here since she was 12 weeks old and she’s developed such a personality in the year she’s been mine. She loves hikes and will do 4 miles without an issue and then nap the rest of the day away.”
