Caitlin is a member of the US Army Reserves, preparing for an overseas assignment which will take her away from her Hilliard, OH, home from 12/5/2020 – 1/1/2022.  Caitlin is hoping against hope that there is a wonderful family or two willing to care for her two dogs, Duke and Diesel.  Caitlin can send the boys anywhere in the US to find their perfect foster home.

Duke is a 2 year old, 75 lbs, neutered male German Shepherd.  He is up to date on his vaccinations and heartworm prevention.  Duke is crate trained and knows commands for sit, lay down, shake and stay.  Duke is a high energy, intelligent dog that will need both physical and mental stimulation throughout the day, and a strong handler.  He gets along well with kids, cats, and other dogs, but does best with slow introductions to new friends.  Caitlin says, “Duke is an amazing loyal dog. He will follow you to the ends of the earth. He is very intelligent and will listen to you. He is also very loving.  The perfect foster home for Duke will have the time and dedication it takes to get familiar with him and make him comfortable. He needs a lot of attention and he deserves it as well.”

Diesel is a 1 year old, 65 lbs, neutered male Siberian husky.  Diesel is up to date on his vaccinations and heartworm preventative.  Diesel is your typical young husky: energetic, intelligent, a lot of fun, but also a lot of work!  He will need a dedicated foster to run him through his paces every day.  Diesel is crate trained and knows how to sit on command, but he has potential for so much more!  He is unfortunately a “boredom chewer” and will seek out mischief if he doesn’t get his exercise in during the day.  He can also be an escape artist in the yard, and should always be supervised when playing, even in a fenced in area.  Though Diesel will be a lot of work for the right foster, he’s also a total sweetheart.  Caitlin says, “Diesel is an adorable dog with a big personality. He can be a major pain in the butt, but he loves cuddles and snuggling. Diesel needs someone who can devote ALOT of time to him. He needs constant stimulation, exercise and care. Husky get bored easily and this can lead to destructive behavior.”
