How adorable can one dog get? Diante is a 2-year-old, 4-pound Apso Chihuahua who loves to cuddle, watch TV, go for car rides, and play with cat toys. He is very smart, very active, and likes to watch the cartoon channel from his crate when his people are out. His momma, Cynthia, is active duty Army in Kuwait, and when Diante escaped his dogsitters house, Cynthia got a call that her darling microchipped doggie was at a shelter! When Cynthia called her dogsitter they did not seem to care, and never picked him up! The only other home Cynthia could call is her daughter who is 8 months pregnant, so Diante needed a safe place to stay until Cynthia came home. Renee has fostered for PACT several times before, and was happy to invite little Diante into her home for five months. Diante enjoyed his new foster doggy friends and foster mom, while Cynthia was finally able to rest easy, knowing her beloved fur-baby was safe. Thank you to Cynthia for your service to our country, and thank you Renee for helping people and pets in need!
