UPDATE: Coast has been reunited with mama Julianna!  Thanks to PACT foster Barbara for giving him a safe place to stay!

Julianna is a young Private in the US Army who is going to training in Virginia on July 1st.  She will be in training until the end of October, at which time she will be assigned a base and will be allowed housing where she can keep her dog, Coast.  Coast is a 1 year old Aussie mix, 57lbs, neutered, and up to date on his vaccinations, heartworm preventative, and flea and tick preventative.

Julianna describes Coast as low energy and very calm, dog/cat/kid friendly, and very quiet.  Coast knows commands for sit, stay, wait, and come back.  He is housebroken, and is usually exercised with play in the yard, short or long walks, or on runs/bike rides with Julianna.  He is crate trained, leash trained, and not a jumper.  The only item that he has a taste for (bad chewing wise) are long cords if left laying out on the floor, though he has never tried to chew a cord that is plugged into a wall.  Otherwise, he seems like a very, very good boy.

Coast and Julianna are currently in New Market, MD.  If you’re interested in hosting Coast for his 4 month term, please let us know!
