Romeo is a young American Bulldog whose owner, a Navy Veteran, is being hospitalized for a month. Many people think of American Bulldogs as aggressive, or scary-looking, because they have large heads and muscular bodies. But Romeo has been with his PACT Foster Family less than a week, and look at these photos! Not only is Romeo adorable, but he is also super-friendly with other dogs, great with kids, and has excellent manners! Dogbreedinfo.com calls American Bulldogs “loyal, reliable, brave and determined. Not a hostile dog. Alert and self-confident, this breed genuinely loves children. It is known for its acts of heroism toward its master.” We are so glad we could help give Romeo a happy home and give his owner peace of mind while he heals. Thank you to Romeo’s foster family for ignoring the American Bulldogs’ bad rap and focusing on Romeo’s wonderful soul!
