Alix is a citizen in Newtown, PA, who suffered a fall in January and is now looking at extended physical rehabilitation until 3/30/2021.  Alix’s daughter, Sarah, has been caring for her senior dog AJ, but Sarah works outside of the home and is finding that AJ is very anxious without his constant companion.  Sarah is hoping to connect with a person who is working from home or retired in the area, who can give AJ a quiet, loving environment until her mother returns home to him.

AJ is an 18 year old, 40 lbs, neutered male Alaskan Eskimo mix.  AJ is up to date on his vaccinations and flea/tick preventative.  AJ is a low energy senior dog, but does have separation anxiety that may cause him to bark or howl if a person is gone for long periods during the day.  AJ does not like cats and is picky about other dogs, so Sarah and PACT are hoping to find a pet free home for him to stay in and get some TLC.  He is house broken and knows sit and stay, but as a senior, he’ll need more potty breaks than a younger dog and may need his commands repeated to him before he hears you.  Sarah says, “AJ is very sweet and very loyal, he follows my mother (his owner) everywhere. He has a very cute face and loves being brushed and having his tummy rubbed.”  AJ would make a great companion for the next two months!
