Update: Thanks to new PACT foster Sara for giving Jaxon a place to stay while his mom heals!

We have an urgent foster need for a pup named Jaxon!  Jaxon’s Mom, Stephanie, went into the hospital for a routine procedure and developed complications during surgery.  She will now need 6-8 weeks of rehabilitation care in a step down unit after being released from the hospital.  Stephanie was only expecting to be away from Jaxon for a few days and only arranged for that amount of care for him.  She now needs to find care for him until she can return to her home and resume caring for him herself.  We are his last hope at finding a way back to his Mom!  Jaxon will be surrendered to a shelter within the next week if we are unable to locate a foster home for him.

Jaxon is a 3 yr old, 20 pound, neutered Shih Tzu Mix.  He is crate trained, housebroken and simply a sweet and carefree kind of pup.  He is well trained on his basic commands (sit, down, stay, drop it) and is happy to cuddle with a human.  He gets along well with other dogs and people. We don’t know how he is with cats.  If you are able to be Jaxon’s Christmas “Angel” please contact PACT as soon as possible.  If you can’t foster Jaxon please help PACT try to locate a foster for him by sharing this post.
