Update: Janet was able to secure a temporary foster for Chicago!

Janet is preparing for life saving surgery scheduled for the beginning of October, but all she’s worried about right now is who will take care of her dog, Chicago.  Chicago is currently in Bensalem, PA, and needs a foster from 10/05/2018 – 3/8/2019.

Chicago is a 9 year old, 17lbs miniature poodle.  Chicago is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations, and microchipped.  Chicago is leash trained but not crate trained, and he knows commands for sit and stay.  He’s great with kids, people, and cats, but is fearful of other dogs, having been attacked by large dogs two separate times in his life.  He does bark at passing dogs/people, but he’s extremely loving to his people inside the house.  He’s a low energy dog that is perfectly happy snuggling up inside and taking short walks for exercise.  Chicago is all that his “mom” has left as far as family in her life, and we know that having Chicago safely cared for will give Janet peace of mind and will allow her to focus on her recovery.  Can you offer Chicago a place to stay?
