Tigger is an absolutely gorgeous almost solid orange tabby cat with the cutest face! His foster family says he is such a silly, water-loving boy...he comes running the moment he hears rushing water! Tigger loves to hang out on the edge of the bath when you shower or fill the tub and doesn't mind the spray of water and seems fascinated with how it comes out of the tap. Tigger is a people-cat: he likes to climb and pounce, chase anything that moves, and get involved in everything you are doing. But he has been known to go off and nap quietly on occassion. You can pick him up and carry him around and is so docile generally. He sometimes plays a bit rough when he gets really exicted, so a home with children over the age of 8 would be best. He likes to curl up by you and at night time he bed hops, cuddling with each member of the family. Tigger's litter box habits are impeccable and he gets along well with the resident cat in his foster home. Please consider this beautiful guy as your next feline companion! He has also spent time around dogs and pretty much just ignores them, so he can live with a cat friendly pooch! Betty (Black Long Hair) is now in the adult cat room at Buzzy's Bow Wow Meow. You can now see her on the cat cam. Upon arrival, Betty was very distant, good with people at times, not good with other cats or dogs. Betty is just the cat's meow now. We can pick her up, hold her, pet her, and she comes running as soon as someone enters the cat room. Dogs come to glass door, and she appears not to bothered at all. She has turned out to be quite a love bug. Betty had her kittens taken away from her and did not adjust well at fist. Now that Betty has had time to adjust, she is back to normal, and is her loving self once again!

Teddy the Australian Cattle Dog found himself in a home where his owners couldn’t manage his very high energy level. PACT for Animals stepped in offered Teddy a safe, happy foster home and provided training to improve some of his manners. Thanks to the hard work by PACT Volunteers, Teddy found an amazing forever home with experienced Australian Cattle Dog owners and two 4-legged dog siblings. Teddy is living in doggy paradise and we couldn’t be happier for him and his new family! We are gratified that there are so many caring people who really will make a difference by opening up their hearts and homes, to give animals a "second chance" at living full and rewarding lives with their new "best friends".

Shamus

Shamus the pit bull was up for re-homing as his owner had to move and couldn't take him. He stayed local with his owner's mom until we could find a new home. During his evaluation, he was found to have all the attributes of an outstanding therapy dog, for humans and canines. Shamus was adopted by a dog trainer. He has already assisted in the mental rehabilitation of four dogs with anxiety or aggression. He is scheduled to get his therapy certification this fall, then visit hospitals to share his abundant love. Shamus is thriving in his new environment and loves having his playmate Cassie.

Rocco is 2 year-old male boxer/pit mix. He is extremely loving and good affectionate, playful and appropriate with other dogs and cats. He has lived with dogs and cats and even children as young as 3 years old. He has moderate to high energy level and walks well on a leash, but could use a refresher in leash walking.
